Bill is an innovative product developer and systems engineer with over 20 years of experience in model based systems engineering (MBSE) and tool development for safety critical systems and enterprise software systems. He has an extensive background developing and implementing piloted flight simulation, ITF, and transformational MBSE processes and facilities for Fortune 100 systems integrators and Tier I suppliers including Honda Aircraft, Boeing, GE Aircraft Engines, Moog, and Northrop Grumman AS. Bill holds an ME in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering through the five year accelerated masters program at the University of Virginia.
JASON COLBOURNE
Chief Operating Officer/Chief Systems Engineer
Jason is an accomplished systems engineering professional and recognized leader in the UAV and rotorcraft communities, with twenty years of of developmental experience with safety critical system architectures, integration and testing capabilities, guidance navigation and control, software design, and avionics systems. He led the system test and integration efforts for the landing algorithms for Northrop Grumman’s X-47B Demonstrator, an unmanned combat air system designed for carrier-based operations. He holds BS and MS degrees in Aerospace Engineering from San Diego State University and California Polytechnic State University.
Tom Jensen
Chief Innovation Officer
Tom is a highly regarded innovator and entrepreneur in the field of automotive E/E. He has served on the leadership teams at Nio and Tesla as chief architect, digital systems, and head of powertrain firmware validation and test infrastructure. He brings two decades of experience in the areas of digital computing, real time systems, and automobile technology and E/E architectures. Tom holds 14 patents related to digital, distributed sensing architectures and telematics.
DAVE GROSHER
CFO/Principal Modeling and Simulation Architect
Dave has extensive expertise in the areas of quantitative analysis, modeling and simulation, and guidance navigation, and control, and has led the architectural development and design of flight control systems on numerous unmanned and autonomous platforms. Dave holds bachelors and masters degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego, and an MBA from INSEAD France.
NICK WERNICKE
Chief Product Architect
Nick is an innovative embedded systems designer with extensive experience in the areas of flight controls, safety critical systems, power electronics, analog and digital circuitry, and embedded firmware. He has extensive architectural and design experience with unmanned air and undersea vehicles. Nick holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA.
DAVID HIPKINS
Chief Software Product Officer/Software Program Manager
David is a highly regarded entrepreneur and program manager with over 20 years of leadership experience in roles that include mission director on the Gravity Probe B Program at the Stanford University Hansen Physics Laboratory, Senior Program Manager at Space Systems Loral, and Senior Program Manager at SA Photonics. He holds BA and MS degrees in Astronomy and Applied Physics from University of California Berkeley and San Francisco State University.
DR. TOMMY BAUMANN
Chief Software Architect
Dr. Baumann is an impact entrepreneur and lecturer in the Modeling and Simulation community. He is founder and CEO of Andato GmbH and a pioneering developer of publish-subscribe based discrete event simulation technology. Dr. Baumann holds a PhD in computer science from the Technische Universität Ilmenau, and an MS degree in Computer and Engineering Science from Stanford University where he served as a researcher at the Hansen Experimental Physics Laboratory.
