OW-901-32

32-Channel Digital I/O Scaling

The OW-901-32 is a 32-channel bi-directional digital signal conditioning card that scales input and output digital signals from TTL lab equipment to application voltage ranges from 3 to 60 V. The OW-901-32 is designed as a general “supply ratiometric” digital I/O front end. It can be used in any situation where the output digital levels or input thresholds change or are “ratiometric” with the power supply. Typical output uses are to simulate devices that reference vehicle power, and typical input uses are to monitor devices that output a discrete signal referencing vehicle power, such as switches, or drive signals like fuel injectors.

OW-701-16

16-Channel Current Sense

The OW-701-16 is a 16-channel bi-directional current measurement card based on Hall-Effect sensors used to measure the current between an electrical source and a load. The channels support 17, 27, and 55 A measurement ranges and can output analog signals scaled to -10 to +10 V. The OW-701-16 can measure high side or low side signals, signals with alternating polarity, and signals with large common mode voltage swings. This makes it ideal for monitoring actuator drive signals, and the operating currents of most devices.

SENSOR SIMULATION

OW-902-8

8-Channel Wheel Speed Simulator

The OW-902-8 is an 8-channel digital signal conditioning card that acts as a front-end signal conditioner for NI real-time logic modules to simulate 2-wire wheel speed signals. When running a software model of a wheel speed sensor, the logic module produces low voltage logic signals, which the OW-902-8 converts into time-varying discrete current signals that simulate an operating wheel speed sensor signal and sensor diagnostic information.

FAULT INSERTION

OW-130

12-Slot Signal Adapter Failplane

The OW-130 is a 12-slot midplane that provides common power and signal references to other OrangeWire load, FIU, and signal conditioning boards. The midplane features eight power rails that support up to 20A per rail (or higher for certain applications). The OW-130 is used to provide a common mounting feature and signal output pattern for adapters to connect many different types of NI real-time modules and all of their various pinouts. The OW-130 is ideal for providing failure and signal reference power to load, signal conditioning, and FIU boards in a variety of HIL applications.

OW-402-32

32-Channel Sensor and Small Load Fault Insertion

The OW-402-32 is a 32-channel FIU card that provides the ability to simulate electrical faults of small loads and simulated signals with ability to support up to 1 A per channel. This module is designed for HIL simulators that test ECU and DUT software and hardware. The OW-402-32 programmatically inserts electrical failures of simulated and real loads connected to ECU outputs in order to simulate a diagnostics failure event and test the ECU’s diagnostic software functions.

OW-403-16

16-Channel Fault Insertion

The OW-403-16 is a 16-channel FIU card that provides the ability to simulate electrical faults of loads with ability to support up to 17 A per channel. This module is designed for HIL simulators that test ECU and DUT software and hardware. The OW-403-16 programmatically inserts electrical failures of simulated and real loads connected to ECU actuator outputs in order to simulate a diagnostics failure event and test the ECU’s diagnostic software functions.

LOAD

OW-206-32

32-Channel Load Board

The OW-206-32 is a 32-channel load card that provides the ability to connect up to 15 W electrical loads in laboratory or production test applications. The board is used to provide equivalent loads in HIL applications for testing ECU and DUT software and hardware. Typical uses include cases where the DUT must to detect a certain load to enable functionality or the DUT must to demonstrate capability to source power to a simulated load.

POWER MANAGEMENT

OW-503-4

4-Channel Power Switch

The OW-503-4 is a 4-channel intelligent power switch that controls four channels of power into or out of the SLSC Chassis. The board is used to provide programmatically switched power to SLSC-based HIL systems and DUTs. The OW-503-4 may be used in any application where low frequency, high power switching is required with operating current measurement up to 55 A and sleep mode current measurement of less than 10 µA accuracy. Some examples are simulating battery connect/disconnect, battery terminal reversal, ground offsets, and fused power input to an SLSC-based HIL system.
